Dianna Lubick | Instructor

Dr. Dianna Lubick is an instructor for the Life Development Institute. She received her B.A. in secondary education from Western Michigan University, her M.A. from the University of Toledo and her Ph.D. from Northern Arizona University. Originally from Michigan, she has lived in Arizona since 1977. She has been certified as a specialist in cross-categorical special education since 2001.

Her experience includes nearly two decades as a high school and post-secondary teacher and twelve years as an editor and publisher. In addition to ten years at Oak Creek Ranch School, a private high school that specializes in helping students with learning disabilities, she was on the staff of Life Development Institute for three years (2000 – 2003) as a post-secondary teacher. She returns to LDI as an adjunct faculty member in the area of life skills/independent living.

Central to her teaching philosophy is the tenet that students must own their accomplishments and failures. She also believes that there is no one way to learn and more that one path to success.
